Twenty-five chapters cover subjects such as how and why typefaces are different, fifteen great inventions behind typefaces, classifying type, choosing type, and the practical problems of identifying type plus what to do when you have become familiar with type. This work is a great place to begin when one wants to start studying the printed word and working with printing and type.
Lieberman also includes informative and interesting historical

With section headings in color, some use of color in the illustration part, color in borders, etc. Loosely inserted is 16 page price list dated January, 1924.
