The engraved title page and ornaments were executed by E.D. French. The engraved frontispiece was executed by Thos. Johnson and is signed in pencil. Light rubbing of binding and age darkening of vellum spine. Bookplate of George Watson Cole on front pastedown. Clipped newspaper article on an exhibition of Waltoniana on verso of back free endpaper (which has stained the facing back pastedown. Bookplate removed from back pastedown. Very scarce book.
