PATENTS FOR INVENTIONS, THE SOURCES OF MODERN PHOTOGRAPHY
Reprint of the 1861 edition printed in London. Volume I contains three parts and covers patents for inventions, and abridgments of specifications relating to photography for the years 1839-1861, part II 1860-1866 and part III 1867-1876. Each part is indexed. Volume two covers the period 1877-83. and contains abridgments of specifications, class 98 photography. This volume contains five parts covering the years 1877-83, 1884-88, 1889-92, 1893-96 and 1897-1900. Volume II has black-and-white illustrations throughout. Both volumes have the bookplates and signature of Gavin Bridson.
