A note which appeared in the announcement of this book stated "This tale dates from about the same period as that of KING FLORUS, and its literary & historical value is equally high." With a beautiful woodcut as the spread title page, woodcut initial letters and printing in red and black. Some wear at spine ends. Nicely preserved copy.
