The last part of the book consists of plates containing illustrations produced by this method. Cronenberg was the proprietor and conductor of the Practical Institute for Photography and Mechanical Reproduction at Schloss Gronenbach, Bavarian-Algan and based the first chapter on his visit to the U.S. Library. With the bookplate and pencil signature of Gavin Bridson. Spine slightly faded. Stain along bottom of the pages in the back.
