Gives information on gilding of leather; paper; silk; velvet and fore edge, marbling on edges of calf and sheepskin, and dyeing of calf and sheepskin. Tipped-in are 8 samples of some of the processes explained in the book. Marbled paper samples and cover paper were made by Mr. Wolfe who also executed the binding.
