This book takes the reader around the world by showing examples of decorated capitals of columns via photographic reproduction. Descriptive legend by Henry Coppée. Eight-toned plates, each with five mounted photographs as illustrations. Covers bumped at corners and scuffed. Free endpapers lacking. Foxing and a faint stain in the outer margin of the text pages.
