Guest curator Nicole J. Caruth brings together approximately 40 mouthwatering artworks that stimulate our appetite while visually challenging our intellect. With Food in Mind is provocative exhibition about cookbooks and recipes.

While cooking shows have become more popular than ever, Americans are cooking less and buying more packaged foods than ever before. Even still, people have a desire to know what they are eating and where it comes from. This new publication was inspired by our obsession with food and our current food climate, both its virtues and hits shortcomings.

With Food in Mind
includes a range of artists' approaches to food, or a unique sort of cookbook. Various artworks are presented and recipes are provided including the directions and ingredients for items like Chocolate Cake, Gluten Free and Vegan, Kubideh Sandwich, My Grandma Jolly's Pie Crust Recipe, Bayside Beans, and Beans 'n' Weenies of Sexual Tension. The recipes are accompanied by artwork from various cookbooks throughout the years as well as detailed descriptions.
