Issued to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launching of the first liquid-repellant rocket. Foreword by Howard B. Jefferson. Contains a tipped-in eight cent postage stamp which was issued to honor Goddard. This copy has been signed and dated by Mrs. Goddard on the half-title.
