KOEMAN'S ATLANTES NEERLANDICI, VOL. IVA: THE TOWN ATLASES: THE "GALÉRIE AGRÉABLE DU MONDE" BY PIETER VAN DER AA (1728)
Krogt, P. van der
2 volumes
This latest part of the Koeman`s Atlantes Neerlandici series contains the description of one single "atlas": the Galérie agréable du monde, published by Pieter van der Aa in Leiden in 1728. The work, containing about 2600 illustrations, is described in the form of a catalogue with a small photo accompanying each description. Large-format digital photographs of all the sheets--both textual and graphic--have been placed on the accompanying DVD, so that this volume is in effect a digital faccsimile of the Galérie agréable.

ANTIQUITIES OF THE OUACHITA VALLEY.
by Moore, Clarence B.
"Reprint from the Journal of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, vol. XIV." One of several books by Moore documenting his archaeological findings in the American South. Report on an additional collection of skeletal remains, from Arkansas and Louisiana (made and presented to the National Museum, in 1909, by Mr. Clarence B. Moore) by Dr. Ales Hrdlicka. Accompanied by eight color plates depicting Native American pottery. Includes countless other black-and-white illustrations of earthenware as well as a map of the Ouachita River, which runs from central western Arkansas into Louisiana. Loosely inserted is a commemorative booklabel which indicates that this came from the reference library of H.P. Kraus purchased by Oak Knoll Books at the auction sale. Some faint white marks on covers.
