This edition comes with a color fold out facsimile of the chart mounted on linen. Slipcase shows some soiling and staining to the back panel. The books wrappers are slightly soiled with some wrinkling and bumping to the corners.

With his Confessions and other writings, he practically invented modern autobiography. Edmond Hédouin (1820- 1889) was a French painter,lithographer and illustrator.
