NEW DRAMATIC ENTERTAINMENT CALLED A CHRISTMAS TALE. IN FI...
by Garrick, David

First edition (ESTCT039827). Nicholl and CBEL ascribe this anonymous work to David Garrick. Garrick (1717-1779) was a major influence on 18th century English theatre. This particular play went through numerous editions. Loutherbourg designed scenery for Garrick at his Drury Lane Theatre including the scenery for this play. The DNB called him "without a rival" in this field. Minor foxing.
